ROOM DECORATING CONTEST
If you have a cool dorm room, enter our room decorating contest and show it off! Submit your entry from October 5 - October 11 for a chance to win amazing prizes!
- Post 5 photos of your room on Instagram and tag @tcu_housing (Your account must be public for us to see the photos). If you don’t have a public Instagram account, you can submit the photos on our website here. Submissions are open from October 5 – October 11, 2020.
- A committee of TCU Housing & Residence Life staff will select nine finalists. Rooms will be judged based on creativity, use of color, use of space, school spirit, theme, organization, and overall design. Finalists will be contacted by email on October 16, 2020.
- Room photos of nine submission finalists will be posted to the TCU Housing & Residence Life’s Instagram and voting will be open from October 17 – October 24.
- The participant who receives the most likes on their photos will become the winner, and the result will be announced on October 25, 2020.
- Each of the 9 finalists will receive an Anker portable charger, a USB Apple phone charger, and a TCU Housing mug.
- One Grand Prize winner will receive $150 Campus Cash and a TCU Housing mug.
- You must be a current TCU student living in the residence halls, with a contract in good standing, to enter the contest.
- Late entries will not be accepted.
- Submissions must be clear images of your on-campus room; images of anything else will be disqualified.
- Any entries deemed inappropriate or that depict policy violations will be disqualified.
- All entries must comply with both University and Residential Life Code of Conduct and policies. If policies are violated, disqualification and disciplinary action will be taken. Please review residence life policies here.
- By entering this contest, you give permission for any images taken during this process to be used indefinitely on TCU or departmental website and in marketing materials.
