Dear Horned Frogs,
It’s been a different type of semester, but a fun semester on-campus and we hope all is going well. As we approach winter break, we want to give you details about winter break housing & dining. Please read the information below and contact our office if you have any questions.
If you are not returning to housing for the spring, you must check out of your fall room before 12:00pm on Saturday, December 12. Your hall staff will provide more information about your community’s process to check-out at an upcoming closing meeting. Please remember there is a sophomore residency requirement, and sophomores will not be permitted to move off-campus for spring 2021.
If you are changing rooms for the spring, you must check out of your fall room before 12:00pm on Saturday, December 12. If your spring room is ready at that time, your spring hall director will notify you about check-in procedures. If your spring room is not ready by that time, you must remove all your items from your fall room and either store them at home or off-campus and check-in when you return in January.
If you will not be on-campus at any point between November 24 and January 15, you will not need to register for winter break housing. Your ID card access will end on November 24 and begin for the spring on January 15.
If you will need housing at any point between November 24 and January 15, please complete the registration form before November 15. There will be no charge for winter break housing; however, dining will be required if you live in a community that requires you to have a plan during the academic year. The cost will be determined by the “term” you register for (either the December term [November 24-December 18], the January term [January 4-14] or both terms) and will not exceed $400 per term. Dining will be closed December 19-January 3; therefore, you’ll need to plan accordingly to eat off-campus during that time using cash, credit card or Frog Bucks at participating restaurants. Spring meal plans will begin Friday, January 15 at lunch.
We hope you have a wonderful winter break and we look forward to seeing you on-campus for the spring. If you have any questions, please contact us at (817)257-7865 or email@example.com.
